In 2005, French metal band Gojira simply were not as well-known as they are today. With Grammy nominations and sold-out tours all across the world, things are much different now, obviously. However, the release of the band’s third full-length album, From Mars To Sirius, established Gojira as a big name to watch in the scene.
Deftones’ current headlining tour with Gojira and VOWWS supporting definitely looked like a good time. Though it’s over, most dates sold out, and it looks like it was a good time. With a tour like Gojira and Deftones together, though, it’s not a surprise that some epic collaborations have happened.
Comeback Kid continue to be one of hardcore’s most consistently great bands, and it continues with their latest single “Crossed”. Featuring one of the most unexpected guest spots from Gojira’s Joe Duplantier the band continues to make their upcoming album Heavy Steps one of the most anticipated records of 2022.
