Is a Miley Cyrus and Halestorm collaboration in the works? Lzzy Hale says “You know I’m down”

Miley Cyrus is currently going viral for an honestly sparkling cover of The Cranberries’ “Zombie” just a week ago. Performed for a benefit at the legendary Whiskey A Go Go, it’s one of the world’s most iconic music venues, providing the start for some of the biggest musicians in history. While the megastar is flirting with one of metal’s biggest bands on her upcoming Metallica cover tribute album, it appears this might not be the only time the pop star is flirting with more rock-oriented music.

Cue up Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale. With their 2009 self-titled debut album and their subsequent three successful full-lengths, Halestorm have become one of rock’s more notable names – and Lzzy Hale has always been one of the genre’s more interesting vocalists. What do Miley Cyrus and Lzzy Hale have in common, though? Well, it appears possible that the two could collaborate in the future.

Clearly, there’s interest from Lzzy’s side, per a recent Twitter post earlier today. Miley has still not responded, which brought a friendly Twitter post from Lzzy challenging her.

Fans of both artists have now started to gain more attention towards the tweet in hopes of Miley commenting back – and possibly making this a reality. Miley will also be releasing her ‘Plastic Hearts’ album on November 27th from RCA Records.
