The band might be a newcomer onto the music scene, but Louisiana’s Youth Crash offer a fresh sound as well. While hard to define stylistically, the band revels in the chaos of post-hardcore and alternative metal in a fashion that fans of bands as diverse as Norma Jean, Every Time I Die, and even Deftones may well enjoy.
For a debut single, “I’m Not Your Way Out” is already fleshed out, with squelching guitar feedback and chaotic noise that also hints at brighter melodies to come. Very, very promising for sure – and rest assured this is only the beginning, with more new music coming soon.
