Armory Infirmary hails from Indian Valley, Pennsylvania, playing the most intense melodic hardcore in recent memory. Guitarist Tanner Detweiler formed the four-piece group five years ago, but the lineup has changed many times since then. Front man Jonathan Crossland says that this current version of Armory Infirmary, with Crossland on lead vocals, Detweiler on guitar and clean vocals, Matt Gausel on drums, and Gill Gonzalez on bass, is the lineup that the band has been searching for since its foundation. Since May of 2013, the band feels that they have truly found the right people to create music with.

The hardcore quartet will release its first EP with its current lineup on Friday, January 24, 2013, entitled Rest. The EP previews that have been played at live shows reveal an enormous amount of passion in the band’s new songs. Songs like “Keeper” and “Rest” send chills down the listener’s spine with their poignant and heartfelt lyrics and “scream-your-heart-out” breakdowns.

Previous releases from the band are Tredpidation, I Am Divided, and When Ships Were Wood and Men Were Steel.

Armory Infirmary has staked their claim as one of Pennsylvania’s most unique and interesting bands, and with Rest, they hope to cement that claim.

*The Rest EP Release Show will be held at the Lansdale Music Factory in Lansdale, Pennsylvania on Friday, January 24, 2013. More information can be found on Armory Infirmary’s Facebook page.*
