Spiritbox are working on new music, officially add former As I Lay Dying member Josh Gilbert, debut new song “The Void”

Having garnered attention lately for dropping off Falling In Reverse’s upcoming headlining tour across North America, there is good news for Spiritbox fans. They have been working on new music – their first since a surprise drop of a 3-song EP, Rotoscope, just under a year ago. A departure from their earlier material while also maintaining their core songwriting ethos, they’ve been hard at work on new music since then – and they’ve now officially added former As I Lay Dying bassist/vocalist Josh Gilbert to the band.

It also appears he’s being involved in the new music in some fashion, as you might be able to tell from a song they debuted live recently. Entitled “The Void”, the song appears to have an official release date of April 21st, if the song’s Genius entry is anything to go by. The band’s recent set where they debuted “The Void” also included a cover of No Doubt’s “Hella Good”, so there’s that bit of news as well.
