Music. Gaming. Nostalgia. Culture.

Ronnie Radke is currently getting cooked by death metal bands on social media

Remember the 2012 AFC Divisional Playoff game, where the Ravens were playing the Broncos? In that game, despite having the #1 seed in the AFC, the Broncos let a sure victory slip away when Joe Flacco tied the game with a 70 yard bomb to Jacoby Jones on 3rd and 3. In that game, Broncos defensive back Rahim Moore got absolutely torched even though the Broncos put 8 men into coverage, and Falling In Reverse’s Ronnie Radke is currently getting torched by multiple death metal bands as well. It’s really an apt correlation.

So, the important backstory. A couple days ago, Machine Gun Kelly came under criticism for partnering with Schecter Guitars with a razor blade design. Many musicians criticized him, including Static Dress’s Olli Appleyard, and then began a mini-war between MGK and Olli, with MGK labeling Olli as a “musician who never made it”. This is hilarious and also completely wrong, when you consider the latter is supporting Bring Me The Horizon on tour right now.

Anyway, since he apparently didn’t have cancel culture to make popular songs about, transphobic comments to make, or an entire band’s fanbase to insult, Ronnie Radke decided to enter the fray. After Mark Valentino, the guitarist of Stabbed responded to it, Ronnie Radke responded to it by threatening to assault Valentino.

Oh, but it gets better. Radke then got into it with Sanguisugabogg, where he proceeded to insult the band, then challenged all four members of the death metal band to a fight, and Dr. Acula also got in on the fun. This is an ongoing war that’s definitely still developing, so stay tuned. Radke also has a history of threatening the media and those he doesn’t like with violence, yet he doesn’t seem to follow through very often. Funny, that.
