Having announced it with less than 24 hours of warning before release, Bring Me The Horizon have officially unveiled Post Human: NeX GEn. The band’s first full-length in over five years, a good chunk of the album has already been revealed through a series of singles.
The band’s first album without Jordan Fish manning the keys and synths (though he is featured on five of the previously released singles), it’s stylistically diverse to a fault, and BMTH’s influences have rarely been more obvious. In fact, much of the criticism thus far has resulted from some new shoegaze and alt-metal influences – particularly underrated bands like Moodring.
It’ll be interesting to hear the reactions over the weekend, to say the least.
