Metalcore band Winds Of Plague recently announced a new record deal with EOne/Good Fight Records, as well as both a new record and a new tour coming soon. This all happened after a recent “comeback” show of sorts happened, and obviously the band was well-received. While I’ve never really given the band much in the way of critical praise, their 2008 album Decimate The Weak is still some great workout music. The band has never done anything really bad, and having seen them 6 times in the last 5 years, I can definitely tell you their live performances are pretty top-notch and full of energy.
Anyway, that’s neither here nor there. I’ll always be the first person to celebrate a hard-working, no bullshit band that tours heavily. Our friends at Astral Media filmed a live music video of the band back on April 15th, at the legendary Chain Reaction venue. Check out the video below, and stay tuned for some possible new album news. The world is a lot better with bands that have the energy of Winds Of Plague, that’s for sure.
