TNF Premiere: Get your metallic hardcore fix with Ante Up’s “Time Is My Enemy”

At the end of the day, time is arguably the most precious resource one can offer. After all, we only have a finite amount of it to give to people, and you never really know when it’ll be all gone.

Luckily if you’re reading this, you’ll have plenty of time to get acquainted with Detroit metallic hardcore band Ante Up and their new single, “T.I.M.E.”. The core sentiment of the song is that time is indeed finite, and the band’s thrash-oriented hardcore will certainly appeal to those who love the more classic sound of the genre.

The new track arrives with the band’s announcement that their new EP of the same name drops December 13th on Upstate Records. You can pre-order the record here, and notably, the band’s EP release show will also involve the likes of Eternal Sleep and Never Ending Game.

Crit (vocals) reflects on the inspiration behind T.I.M.E., saying “This EP came from the truth of life, and the fact that time itself is always taken for granted. Once it’s gone, it’s gone and we cannot forget that. Making memories, doing the things we love, living life, can all be taken away without warning. In the end, time is and will always be my enemy.”
