Sum 41 will be going out with a bang for sure. The band has dropped their first new single “Landmines”, marking the first song since the band announced they’ll be coming to an end in 2024. It also marks the first single the band has since signing with Rise Records. The band will be closing out their year with an appearance at When We Young Fest, after dropping some dates earlier this year due to an illness Whibley was dealing with.
“When I wrote Landmines I had no intention of writing an old school “pop punk” song. It just came out really quickly and I knew right away that this song felt special to me,” shares Whibley.
