The hardcore outfit known as Detachment formed in 2018 in Long Island, New York, just a couple years ago. Detachment released their debut song “Million Eyes” soon after, and while the coronavirus pandemic has crippled the band’s plans as of late, they show no signs of stopping in the studio. The group released their first EP Gaslight earlier this year, as well. Gaslight was a strong debut for the group. Detachment captures the hardcore scene with a sound in the vein of Knocked Loose, Left Behind, and Boundaries. The band has released their follow-up single to Gaslight. Detachment has presented their newest song “Work Horse” to the world.
