Let’s Talk Wrestling : WWE Tribute To The Troops 2021 (Review)

WWE

Tribute To The Troops

Ontario, CA

Nov. 14th, 2021

Non Title Match
Dolph Ziggler vs. Big E

There was nothing wrong here, just your average Raw match between these two here. Both played it safe, hit their moves, and did their thing without making it anything extra or extravagant.

Singles Match
Liv Morgan vs. Bianca Belair

A quick and pointless match here honestly. Liv Morgan at times almost feels like she’s moving in slow motion to either wait for or have her opponent get set and ready for what’s about to happen. Just felt like neither of them were given much here to work with.

Non Title Match
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Roman Reigns

Another quicker match. At times it felt and looked a little sloppy especially when there was a run in. Nakamura is so over but gets fed to Reigns mostly in a match that did nothing for either.

Overall this was just an odd show. Filmed over a month before it aired and unlike other Tribute To The Troops events it wasn’t even done with troops there, it was done before a taping for another WWE event. Matches were short and all phoned in and this came off as WWE contractually doing something they had to but never putting the effort into it that it deserves.
