AEW World Title Match
Adam Page (c) vs. Bryan Danielson

Though their 60 minute stalemate match would be hard to beat this did it and so much more. With better pacing, great spots, emotions, story, and being a bloodbath both men came out here and gave 2022 a contender for match of the year 5 days in. Hangman gave it his all to defend his belt while Danielson put his body and heart into every step trying to get that title.

4.5 / 5

Singles Match
MJF vs. Shawn Dean

I won’t even rate this match as it was simply made for the story to continue against Punk and MJF.

NA / 5

Singles Match
Wardlow (w/Shawn Spears) vs. Antonio Zambrano

Another week another Wardlow squash. Continuing the story here though where Wardlow becomes the face and breaks away from MJF and Spears. Only gets a 1 due to the story moving on.

AEW TBS Title Tournament Final Match (vacant)
Ruby Soho vs. Jade Cargill (w/Mark Sterling)

While I get they want to push Jade the new TBS champ and homegrown talent, she is way too green to be pushing like this. The match lasted way longer than it needed to and Ruby had to carry the entire match. Jade needs to learn how to sell more and also how not to botch her own moves, at least not so noticeable, as the finish of the match couldn’t even be pulled off correctly.

1 / 5

Singles Match
Malakai Black vs. Brian Pillman Jr. (w/Julia Hart)

Another quick and almost squash like match for Black in his continued feud against Pillman and company. Just wish they’d speed up bringing in Blacks faction.

1 / 5

AEW World Tag Team Title Match
The Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix) (w/Alex Abrahantes) (c) vs. Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus) (w/Christian Cage)

A somewhat surprising title change. Lucha Bros are so over so its somewhat shocking to see them losing the belts right now. The end table spot with Fenix was scary as well with his dislocating his elbow. It was your typical crazy spot fest tag match for most of it with rules not applying.
