AEW Rampage – Episode 28 (02.11.2022) (Wrestling Review)

AEW

Rampage

Atlantic City, New Jersey

Feb. 11th, 2022

Tag Team Match
The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (w/Brandon Cutler) vs. Roppongi Vice (Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta) (w/Orange Cassidy)

A fun kick off match and throw back to these two teams going at it in NJPW. Typical Bucks tag match where rules don’t apply so much and its a lot of both teams ignoring rules for the sake of spots which I don’t really have an issue with here. Fun spots, moved along nicely, and we even got a Danhausen and post match Jay White appearance.

Non Title Match
Dr. Britt Baker DMD (w/Rebel) vs. Robyn Renegade

Just an okay match. Went on much longer than expected for Britt facing someone new and unsigned. A lot of the match was almost just stalling though which ran up the time for it.

Singles Match
Hook vs. Blake Li (w/QT Marshall)

Another typical Hook squash match. He needs to speed up the time between moves sometimes but other than that he has some great potential and is over with the fans.

AEW World Tag Team Title Match
Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus) (w/Christian Cage) (c) vs. The Gunn Club (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) (w/Billy Gunn)

Jurassic Express continuing their run through of tag teams. Gunn Club aka the ass boys looked good here and like a solid tag team with a chance. Nothing really out the ordinary or special here but both teams looked good and had their moments to shine with Jungle Boy continuing to be a bright beacon for AEWs future.
