AEW Dynamite – Episode 195 (06.28.2023) (Wrestling Review)

AEW

Dynamite

Ontario, Canada

June 28th, 2023

Singles Match
Tomohiro Ishii vs. Jon Moxley (w/Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta)

This was a fun hard hitting match of two guys hitting each other really hard till they bled and didn’t get back up. Ishii is one of the toughest looking guys in wrestling and Mox is a dangerous guy in ring willing to go at it. This helped build up some good feuds too.

Six Man Tag Team Match
El Hijo del Vikingo, Keith Lee & Orange Cassidy vs. The Jericho Appreciation Society (Angelo Parker, Daniel Garcia & Matt Menard)

This was an okay but random and botchy match. Lee looked good here and shined but the flow was off almost like no one was on the same page. Vikingo being here was random too but he almost lost it at some moves with Lee.

Six Man Tag Team Match
The Elite (Adam Page, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) vs. The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, Evil Uno & John Silver)

I like Dark Order but they need something and this feud returning isn’t doing it.  I don’t believe Dark Order is beating The Elite anytime soon nor is Hangman going to go back to them. This was fine for what it was though.

Singles Match
Ruby Soho (w/Saraya & Toni Storm) vs. Alexia Nicole

Squash.

Tornado Tag Team Match
Darby Allin & Sting vs. The Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara)

This was fine for what it was. Sting missing the table almost after a super long jump was a big deal and he got hurt a little legit on it. Jericho vs Sting would be a fine singles match but I’m not sure if they continue the feud at all after this.
