Berlin, Germany based metalcore band Vianova surfaced in 2018 with their EP “A Place I Want to Live in but I Don’t Want to Die For”, and thus began their musical journey. Vianova has unleashed their first release of 2021 titled “Mind Flayer” that showcases Vianova as their strongest yet in terms of songwriting and execution. Vianova takes inspiration from bands like “Parkway Drive, Northlane, August Burns Red, Architects, and bands in that realm. Vianova takes the route of fast technical riffs, punishing breakdowns, and a unmatched melodic ambience to their music. Something highly unique about Vianova compared to other metal bands is their habit to take aspects from genres like Latin, polka, and even some funk. Vianova released their new song “Mind Flayer” on their YouTube, as well as releasing a six minute version on streaming services that add way more depth to the song and meaning behind it.
