Knocked Loose have left no stones unturned when it comes to figuring out new ways to unleash their unbridled sonic destruction. Short film? Sure! Minecraft Wall Of Death? Indeed. Poppy AND Chris Motionless on the same top 25 Billboard charting album? Not even a bit out of place. You get what we’re saying,
It’s not like they’ve diluted their sound to make it more palatable, either. No, Knocked Loose are continuing to deliver nasty riffs from the pit, no matter if it’s a secret, last-minute show at a DIY venue or a huge, outdoor venue like St Pete, Florida’s Jannus Live – where they finished their biggest headliner to date completely sold-out. Having just reached 2 million monthly listeners on Spotify a few days ago, they’ve never been bigger. This is probably a big reason why they’re supporting Slipknot’s 25th anniversary tour soon, but the fact is that Knocked Loose will pretty much play with any band, anywhere, at anytime. When you have a legendary band like Poison The Well praising their efforts, you know they’re doing something right.
A month and a half on the road, all sold out. Thank you all so much for everything. See you soon.

It’s hard to argue with the results. Especially when you consider they played two hometown shows with Poison The Well, Division Of Mind, Trash Talk, White Reaper, Superheaven, and Psycho-Frame. Even Deftones wanted them for DDLD IV. Unsurprisingly, both of the aforementioned shows sold out with particular speed (ironic, consider their tapped opener from Australia, who are also great). Shout out to bands that don’t bring the same 3-5 support bands on headlining tours.
Hilariously, there are people who actually think Knocked Loose have “sold out” for some reason. Is touring with Motionless In White and then collaborating with them something that makes you lose your hardcore credits? At some point, you have to wonder if there’s fans of hardcore and metalcore that simply do not want to see their favorite bands explode. While it’s true that having a band that you can proudly represent as one of your own, it’s surprising that some people would rather not see them be able to tour, record music, and do what they love for a living.
Thankfully, this is an outlier. If you are anything like me, the writer, you probably seen Knocked Loose at a number of venues over the years. For me, there’s nothing better than seeing one of your favorite bands grow from a popular local and regional act, to a band that now tours amphitheaters and arenas supporting some of the biggest bands in the scene. So yeah, Knocked Loose sold out all right – to a legion of fans who wanted to let their emotions and trials of life disappear for a night.
