New Eighteen Visions music isn’t likely something that was ever expected by anyone. Their dissolution in early 2007 was the end of an era, but the highly influential OC metalcore band had simply run their course, but not after influencing a generation of like-minded post-hardcore and metalcore bands. Well, guess what? They’re armed with a new album coming out in June via Rise Records, and a new song titled “Oath”.
Just listen. That’s all you really need to do right now. The fact that the band is back at all is pretty incredible, but this is a clear throwback to the Vanity era of the early 2000’s.
