WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2024 (Wrestling Review)

Vengeance Day

Clarksville, Tennessee

Feb. 4th, 2024

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2024 Final Match
Baron Corbin & Bron Breakker vs. Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams

This was fine but nothing amazing. Some good spots that were overshadowed by the few flubs here. Bron and Hayes are pretty much finishing their NXT runs.

3 / 5

No Disqualification Match
Joe Gacy vs. Dijak

This was a fine brawl type match. Gary wanting to take the pain worked here as a story and the spots were good even if the toys didn’t work out great in the table spot.

3.5 / 5

Mixed Six Man Tag Team Match
The Family (Adriana Rizzo, Channing Lorenzo & Tony D’Angelo) vs. Out The Mud (Bronco Nima, Jaida Parker & Lucien Price) (w/SCRYPTS)

This was just okay. It felt like a TV match but had some good action.

3 / 5

WWE NXT Women’s Title Triple Threat Match
Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Lola Vice

A normal match with a run in by Vice that turned it into a three way match. First part of the match before run in was slower and more technical, then it turned into a fast paced match. Vice, while new, is fast and charismatic which made this really good. Just a bit sloppy at parts.

3.75 / 5

WWE NXT North American Title Match
Oba Femi (c) vs. Dragon Lee

I wasn’t huge on this one. Took a bit to get going and never felt the speed vs power was done great here.

2.5 / 5

WWE NXT Title Match
Ilja Dragunov (c) vs. Trick Williams (w/Carmelo Hayes)

A bloody hard hitting match here. The crowd may not have wanted Trick to lose but the Hayes turn makes a story coming up. Dragunov is running out of people to take on but he gave a killer match here.
