What’s really fascinating to many, though, is when some of the world’s biggest musicians end up being just like us at the end of the day. I mean they are, if we’re being honest. And apparently megastar Lizzo, who emerged just a few years ago with hits like “Good As Hell” and her 2019 debut full-length, is a big fan of some of the most talented bands in the music scene.

In a new interview that happened to surface on Twitter in the last few days, Lizzo revealed that some of her favorite bands growing up were not what one might expect to hear from any artist as famous as she is. She name-dropped The Mars Volta and Circa Survive as some of her favorites growing up, and let’s just say Circa Survive’s Anthony Green was very much stoked on this development. Oh, and Radiohead too. Maybe you’ve heard of them. When are we getting a Lizzo and Anthony Green collab? That would actually be awesome.
