Fresh off the recent release of their new album Cartographer, Austin, TX-based progressive metal band Chronologist are making some serious waves in the music community right now. Sure, instrumental bands with a lot of technical prowess are all over, but the thing is, these guys do it right. Don’t believe me? Check out their live performance of their song “Pioneer”, which was filmed a few days ago at South By Southwest Festival. You may have heard of it. If you’re liking what you hear, you should probably listen to the album below, too. It’s quite good.
