TNF Premiere: California alternative rock band Love Ghost premieres new song, “Girl Pusher”

Dismissing a band because they’re young is quite foolish, to be honest. Bands like Silverchair weren’t even 18 years old (actually, they weren’t even 16) when Frogstomp became one of the biggest Australian rock albums of the last 25 years, and all the members of Linkin Park were 24 or younger when Hybrid Theory went on to sell tens of millions of albums worldwide in 2000.

While the members of California alternative rock band Love Ghost also are young (seriously, the whole band is made up of teenagers), this promising young act is also not one to leave off your radar. The four-piece blend heavy rock, garage psych and moody pop for a unique fusion all their own – and the music is influenced by the teenagers personal experiences of addiction, mental illness, heartache, love and coming of age.

We’re excited to premiere the band’s next single, “Girl Pusher”, off their upcoming debut album out later this year. The song is unique, lyrically, as according to vocalist Finn Bell, “Girl Pusher is essentially an abuse story told through the eyes of the abuser. The abuser is left with nothing in the end”. Check out the new track below – we think you’ll like it quite a bit.
