If you need any proof that the late Tim Feerick of Dance Gavin Dance fame was beloved by many, you need only see the plethora of tributes to him all over social media, and even in the band’s hometown of Sacramento, California. At this point, they’re never ending – clearly, Feerick’s talent on bass was integral to what drove Dance Gavin Dance to stardom the last 10 years or so.
Of course, Dance Gavin Dance fans aren’t the only ones who have been paying tribute to him the last few days. An array of musicians all across the spectrum have done so as well, and even the NBA’s Sacramento Kings paid tribute to him on social media. This is a huge deal because one, it’s a major professional sports team doing this, and two, it’s one from the band’s home base. If you needed to see what kind of wide-ranging appeal Dance Gavin Dance has, this is just more proof how beloved Feerick’s talent was. And that talent will live on forever.
