After announcing it earlier this year, The Devil Wears Prada issued ZII, a sequel to the band’s Zombie EP. Now, the first-week album sales have come in, and clearly the band has an adoring fanbase that still cares about them.
The record ended up coming in at #110 on the Billboard 200, selling around 9,500 copies. Most of that number was pure album sales, but also note that it does take streaming into account.
As already noted, the band’s 2010 Zombie EP nailed down around 25k first week copies, albeit in a much different era of music consumption.
