Influential alt-rock veterans Swervedriver release new song, “Mary Winter”

Having released 4 very influential records in the 90’s, Britain’s alt-rock heroes Swervedriver never gained quite the success that their musical acumen deserved. With their debut album, 1991’s Raise, their noisy forays into shoegazey alt-rock nevertheless managed to earn the band a place in the music scene. Its follow-ups, especially 1995’s career-defining Ejector Seat Reservation, maintain their status as important records of the era – but it was their recent comeback album in 2015 that reintroduced the veteran band to a new generation of fans. Now, the band is back with “Mary Winter”, their first new song in years.

Adam Franklin (guitar, vocals)
Jimmy Hartridge (guitar)
Mikey Jones (drums)
