For any band that is doing music independently, promoting and hyping said material is often fairly difficult. Not every band is cut out to handle everything themselves – even veteran bands. Luckily, alternative rock band The Republic Of Wolves don’t have that problem. Having recently announced that their 3rd full-length, Shrine, would be a self-released and crowdfunded affair, the onus was on their fanbase to hit a $6,000 goal. Though the campaign goes for another month +, the band just hit their goal in less than 2 weeks.
Interested parties can support the album release at the link below, and who knows? Maybe TROW will end up hitting double their goal – for an independent band, this is huge. If you’re unfamiliar with the band’s work, a great place to start would be their debut full-length, Varuna, which can be streamed below.
