Pianos Become The Teeth detail upcoming album ‘Drift’, premiere new single

Pianos Become The Teeth are certainly a far cry from the band that wrote emotionally and sonically desperate albums like Old Pride and 2011’s The Lack Long After. Perhaps the abandonment of the scramz scene they were birthed in, though, was a good idea. I mean, it’s not like the band’s last two albums (especially 2014’s Keep You) haven’t been a vehicle for emotional catharsis, just stylistically different.

Thankfully, PBTT are set to release their first album since 2018, Drift, and you can stream its lead single below. It mostly continues on the post-hardcore/post-rock path of their last couple albums, so if you were a fan of those (you should be, they’re pretty good), the new Pianos Become The Teeth material should be right up your alley.
