Patient Sixty-Seven continue to rack up impressive numbers on new EP, ‘What If It Never Gets Better’

If you’re in a crowded field of music, especially post-hardcore/metalcore, it’s really quite difficult to “make it”. Of course, what you and I define as “making it” is likely to differ drastically, as the goals and ultimate endgames vary drastically for a number of reasons. For a band that’s operated mostly independently and in a field as crowded as post-hardcore // metalcore, though, Australia’s Patient Sixty-Seven have done exceedingly well for themselves. With a regular wave of content coupled with a constant work ethic, they’re racking up over 120k monthly listeners on Spotify. Some of this is thanks to their new EP What If It Never Gets Better, out now.

One of the scene’s hardest working bands, the new EP features Underoath’s Aaron Gillespie (“No Place”) and popular single “Mare’s Nest” across its impressive six tracks. What’s equally notable is that they’ve mastered the art of fan engagement, managing to connect with a worldwide fanbase (despite their more remote location). Give the EP a spin below.
