Nullify The Noise is bringing the heat as they finish up in the studio, as well as hopping on the best promoted shows within the Central Florida area. This band is up and coming with a fresh twist to music with their Christian-influenced lyrical content. Be on the look out as they continue this pursuit and journey as young musicians.
Broken Vessel (Broken but Chosen) is by far my favorite song that I’ve heard them perform live. The whole concept of the song is uplifting, a public service announcement for the weary, and a source of positive encouragement. Above all, the highlight of the track is the build of the breakdown that begins at the 2:35 mark. Bailey Howard, vocalist, shows a profound way of mixing both low growls in with this mix and it complements this moment well. Diego Mata, drummer and vocals, displays the clean vocals all throughout the song. I think it’s really important that we recognize the “Broken but Chosen” aspect too. It’s moreover going to be their EP title; and there’s no specific date of release from right now. Despite our baggage, we’re always going to be loved and accepted by our higher power. The broken, outcasted, and mistreated are often the ones who are called upon to do the good works of God.
Faith In A Fake was the first single released and I had the privilege of catching each recording session as it went on. This upbeat, yet catchy song empowers the symbolism of the average individual worshipping materialistic items instead of what should be cherished. It’s a call to action for those who find their satisfaction in something that could never please or fulfill their needs.
