Following up the acclaimed Citadel and Portal Of I seems to be a pretty tough task for any band, but when you are blessed with the talent of Australian progressive/extreme metal band Ne Obliviscaris, it’s not such a challenge. One of the first bands to really hit it big with using the Patreon service to adapt to the changing future of music, it’s enabled them to tour worldwide and keep making incredible music.
For those wanting and craving a follow-up to Citadel, though, that time is coming soon – the band has recent posted that album #3 is “complete”. If you’re not familiar with the band, you can stream below the track, “Devour Me, Colossus (Part 1)” – one that I consider one of their best overall.
