Meet Moodring, the alt-metal band that every music publication will be talking about in the next year

Few things truly HIT like the discovery of your new favorite artist. If you’re like us and love finding new music, we won’t mince words – Moodring is going to be your new favorite discovery.

Much like bands like Spiritbox and Loathe, Moodring spent their first year of existence slowly garnering a fanbase and releasing captivating music. That initial influx of fans resulted in their signing to UNFD last year, the same year as they released their debut EP. With two new songs out now (“Disintegrate” and new single “Constrict”), Moodring adeptly show they can hang in almost any scene – alternative metal, arena rock, shoegaze, nu-metal, grunge, and alternative rock influences all manage to abound in the handful of songs they’ve released so far.

Interestingly, Moodring aren’t quite being hyped by the major rock and metal publications – yet. While the band has landed early press attention from us, Distorted Sound, and others in similar stratospheres, they haven’t quite landed the Kerrang! cover story that’s also in their near future. Seriously, mark it down. Like the above bands, sometimes it takes a while for the major tastemakers to come around when a band is already being megahyped. Luckily, you won’t have to worry about that here – we’ve been introducing you to Moodring’s genre-fluidity since day 1.
