Florida metalcore band Infected is quickly gaining momentum with their take on the genre, check out their new song “Madness”

Three talented minds from Orlando, Florida came together to form the next up and coming band Infected. Forming in 2020 the band has started to unleash their music on the public, and the public is liking what this trio has to offer. Infected breeds a crushing and melodic take with their musical releases. Lyrically the group is inspired by the video game industry overall, taking influence from multiple gaming franchises. Quickly gaining numbers in their streams and views, the band is seeing over 15,000 monthly Spotify listeners. The band consists of Axel Lagru, Joey Meehan, and Eric Sky (founder of Evacuate The City, former touring metalcore band with 1,000,000+ streams). Infected has just recently released their Dead By Daylight inspired song “Madness”. The song is inspired by the Doctor killer inside the game, and is a all around solid track with memorable moments. Infected take it up a notch with their newest release. The song “Madness” kicks off with an energized riffs that string into a powerful verse with impressive vocal patterns. The song features one of my favorite choruses of 2022 so far, it’s one of those choruses that can stick with you with its infectious melody. Infected releases new songs every month, and their next song “Nemesis” is set to release April 8th. The upcoming song will draw inspiration from Resident Evil and it’s big bad Nemesis. Infected is a very promising newcomer to the scene that I can see going nowhere but up as they continue.
