Singles Match
MJF vs. Darby Allin

Darbys full speed cannonball fling to the outside will always look so good, like a move that actually looks like it’d hurt. It was a great match between these two. With Darby being more of a fast in ring guy and MJF being very old school the styles together worked well. Great in ring story telling and MJF running off an injured knee as the match went on along with MJFs dirty tactics made for a fantastic opener.

AEW World Tag Team Title Match
The Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix) (w/Alex Abrahantes) (c) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) (w/Tully Blanchard)

What a fantastic match. FTR and Lucha with completely opposite styles trying to one up one another and counter their styles was a thing of beauty. Both teams had the crowd eating out of their palm here. Lucha Bros continue to be the best tag team in the world pulling off moves that just seem so insane but done with such ease.

AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament Final Match
Bryan Danielson vs. Miro

A much slower harder hitting match here with Danielson and Miro. Both with similar but somewhat different skills it was a set battle between the two with a steady back and forth. It just felt like it moved at too slow of a pace sometimes. Once it starts to drag several times the match itself just starts to feel like its taken too long. A bit of an awkward finish as well lowered this a bit.

2.5 / 5

Six Man Tag Team Falls Count Anywhere Match
Christian Cage & The Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus) vs. The SuperKliq (Adam Cole, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (w/Brandon Cutler & MT Nakazawa)

A really fun chaotic match here between both teams. Everyone had their moments and gave some fantastic spots. The story telling element with Jungle Boy throughout the match worked wonders as well. The match could have been a little shorter as it started to feel like it was going on. For what it was though it was enjoyable.

4 / 5

Tag Team Match
Cody Rhodes & PAC (w/Arn Anderson) vs. Andrade El Idolo & Malakai Black (w/Jose The Assistant)

What should have been a fun tag with odd pairings just felt off. The match just never seemed to find its flow. It would start to pick up then stop and just never felt like it gained its footing here. It did have some fantastic spots however from these men, it just would have been better if they split the men into different matches.

2.5 / 5

AEW Women’s World Title Match
Dr. Britt Baker DMD (w/Jamie Hayter & Rebel) (c) vs. Tay Conti

A solid match between Britt and Tay. Tay looked great here but has the same issue a lot of these women have where the moves don’t connect and its visible. Some fantastic spots were here though and made Tay look like a legit threat to end Britts title run.

3.5 / 5

Singles Match
CM Punk vs. Eddie Kingston

A fantastic emotional match. The build up to this match was amazing and showed both what Punk and Eddie can do when given freedom. A hard hitting match that told a story in ring while never being boring or resorting to massive spots. Punk getting a full crimson mask as well as the perfect add on to it.

4.5 / 5

Ten Man Tag Team Minneapolis Street Fight
The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Ortiz, Sammy Guevara & Santana) vs. American Top Team (Andrei Arlovski, Dan Lambert & Junior Dos Santos) & Men Of The Year (Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky)

Both Sammy and Santana / Ortiz move at such a smooth pace pulling off moves with such ease. It’s nice to see when celebrities get involved in matches and angles that they respect the industry enough to come in and give it their all like tonight. This was a fun brawl though that moved along fast enough with good spots to keep it entertaining without being boring or going too long.

3.5 / 5

AEW World Title Match
Kenny Omega (w/Don Callis) (c) vs. Adam Page

A story a year in the making. Hangman and Omega both told a story in the ring here in a slower drawn out match that carried its momentum with bursts of energy and spots between emotional moments. Omega made it feel like a normal match but Hangman shined here as he always does. It’ll be interesting to see how Hangman is as champ.
