Kid Rock couldn’t save music alone, so he fittingly invited Morgan Wallen to co-write his new song

When he’s not telling his critics to “fuck off” (classy!) or releasing some of the most insipid music known to mankind, Kid Rock is often proving his snowflake status is indeed true. After all, Kid Rock has always played up his “white trash” persona, despite the fact that he was actually pretty well off growing up. The grift is on!

Anyway, if you thought his new material couldn’t get any more irrelevant and/or laughable, you would also be wrong. One of his newest songs, “Still Somethin'”, references many of the greats of rock and roll music, including The Beatles and Journey. That in and of itself wouldn’t be all that bad, right? Unfortunately, name dropping famous bands and musicians doesn’t make a song good – and the song, as Music Mayhem notes, was written by Morgan Wallen. You know, the country music star that came under serious fire for his use of racial slurs.

It also wouldn’t be surprising to see the two tour together soon, considering they’re cut from the same cloth. After all, Kid Rock was kicked out of his own Tennessee bar a few years back after going on a racist rant, so there’s that. The best part about the new song is that, at least on YouTube, you can’t tell Kid Rock what you think about the track – because he’s barred all comments. Probably gets tiring deleting the thousands of comments that tell you how much you suck.
