IDLES drop video for “POP POP POP”, tour selling out quickly

IDLES have dropped a video for their latest single “POP POP POP” off of their new album “TANGK”. The album which has been both a fan and critical success topping #1 charts across the world continues to showcase the band that is known for blending various genres and having a wild live show. Their upcoming summer North American tour is also selling out quickly with a handful of dates already completely sold out. You can find the dates below.

About “POP POP POP” Talbot says, “It’s a song about the beauty of having a kid and understanding how lucky you are to have a kid. And there’s a sense of a cycle when you have a child, when you’ve lost a parent and a child. I have a very huge sense of gratitude and weight behind being a parent because of what I’ve lost. I’m not saying I’m a better parent, or more connected because of that. But for me, I’m more connected than I would have been, I think, because of what I’ve lost. I’ve learned a sense of just joy from seeing her joy. And I think that’s amazing. And powerful. And I’m very grateful.”

Additionally, IDLES’ 2024 world tour has kept on expanding, with many of the North American tour dates already sold out. They’ll kick off the first leg in Vancouver, BC at PNE Forum on May 3rd, with the second leg beginning September 14th at Asheville, NC’s Rabbit Rabbit and finishing in Mexico City.
