Music. Gaming. Nostalgia. Culture.

I See Stars just wiped all of their content on Instagram, which can only mean one thing – big things coming (and maybe their new album)

The last time I See Stars released an album, there were only 20 Major League Soccer teams, 6 generations of Pokémon, and the Kansas City Chiefs were still looking to break their Super Bowl drought. So yeah, it’s been awhile since the band could stand on their own two feet again. There’s been some light at the end of the tunnel, of course. Back in April of 2021, I See Stars apparently put the finishing touches on a new record, with producer David Bendeth at the helm. However, there’s been no real news from the band since then – until a couple days ago.

I See Stars pulled the big band version of the local band’s favorite “big things coming” status, except in ISS’s case, the band wiped their entire Instagram account free of any content. This can likely infer two things: one, an album announcement coming shortly, and two, probably a new song in the very near future. At least, it seems pretty likely. There’s been no official word from the band themselves (they’ve still been radio silent since last year, really), but it appears it’s finally happening. Or maybe it’s a new fanclub or something. Probably the former, though.
