Unhallowed Promethean is a rather new band that made their debut in 2019 with their song “Harvest”. Based in Manila, Philippines, Unhallowed Promethean really elevate the good qualities in the deathcore genre. The band showcases deathcore that belongs in the heavyweight category from the very start with their first release. Unhallowed Promethean followed up their 2019 release with a release in 2020 titled “Vile Vermin”. The song quickly caught my attention with its impressive breakdown and ending. In 2021 Unhallowed Promethean released their next single “Damned Creation”. For each year since their founding they’ve released one high quality song, leaving me wanting more. The group has just unveiled their newest song “Eternal” featuring George Fronda. This new song is my favorite yet from the Philippines-based heavy hitters. The new song came packed with a very unique visualizer done with 3D animation and CGI. Fans of Lorna Shore, Shadow of Intent, and Whitechapel may find something to love about Unhallowed Promethean.
