H2O “Hustlepalooza” 2023 (Wrestling Review)

H2O

Hustlepalooza

Williamstown, New Jersey

April 3rd, 2023

H2O Hybrid Title #1 Contendership Battle Royal
Jimmy Lyon vs. Edward Hawkins vs. ??? vs. ??? vs. ??? vs. Alex Stretch vs. Anthraxx vs. Chad Spectacular vs. Duncan Aleem vs. Frank Bonetti vs. Lady Blakely vs. Louie Jr. vs. Rocket

A battle royal to open the show full of what I assume is mostly H20 students. This just wasn’t very good or interesting at all.

H2O Hybrid Title Three Way Match
GG Everson (c) vs. Ziggy Haim vs. Kennedi Copeland

This was barely acceptable. Never interesting really and didn’t flow well at all.

1 / 5

Singles Match
Austin Luke vs. Ryan Redfield

A few minutes shorter and this would be better but at least it was a semi competent match. They could have tried to hide that they were holding each other for prolonged times to discuss what’s next a little better though.

2 / 5

IWTV Independent Wrestling World Title Match
Matt Tremont (c) vs. Brandon Kirk

Not even a match but an angle with Krule invading before it started.

.5 / 5

H2O Heavyweight Title Match
1 Called Manders (w/Ryan Redfield) (c) vs. Deklan Grant

Another match that was too long and drawn out. It had moments but it just dragged on.

1.5 / 5

H2O Danny Havoc Hardcore Title #1 Contendership Four Way Death Match
Louie Ramos vs. Bam Sullivan vs. Mouse vs. Sawyer Wreck

A solid deathmatch but nothing special. Sawyer and Louie bleed a good amount. There was a few solid spots but it just never felt like anything great.
