Originally released in 2003 off their album Fallen, Evanescence’s “Bring Me To Life”, which also features 12 Stones vocalist Paul McCoy, was a smash success to say the least. Arguably the band’s signature song, it helped propel the relatively unknown band to instant success. While none of the band’s subsequent albums has touched it in terms of album sales, that’s more to the declining number of album sales than it is the band themselves.
Anyway, the hit single has reached a very special milestone – specifically, one billion views on its subsequent video on Youtube. That’s a milestone only a handful of rock and metal bands have ever reached, including Linkin Park, Nirvana, Guns ‘N’ Roses, and others. Pretty impressive, honestly.
