Another week has come and gone and I have witnessed yet another flawless show at Foobar. Palaver Thursday, put on by Palaver Records, with support from Soundstamp and Starr Hill Brewery, brings some amazing acts to the stage. This week’s lineup included Indie/Folk artists Juliana Daily, Kelly Ruth, and Midnight Pilot.
Coming off of their 2012 release, “Epidemia,” the guys in Ill Nino are back with a vengeance. Since 1998, they have been known for their catchy riffs, heavy hitting drumming, amazing bass, and of course the all important diverse vocals.
If you were in the East Nashville area and heard the sound of trumpets, saxophones, and just purely amazing reggae music, then chances are you were hearing some of the phenomenal bands that took part in this week’s Palaver Thursday show at Foobar, put on by Palaver Records, Soundstamp, and Starr Hill Brewery.
