AEW Dynamite – Episode 149 “Quake By The Lake” (08.10.2022) (Wrestling Review)

Brody bled like a pig here. This was a fun match with Darby being thrown like a rag doll. Sting showed up to save Darby and Sting is still super protected in AEW. Stares down House Of Black who could easily take him on. A fun match though overall with some good spots. Everyone came out looking good too.

A fantastic tornado tag match which I wouldn’t have expected less from these 4. I liked them making it a tornado tag so that it wasn’t an issue that rules were ignored, as AEW tag matches follow rules very loosely. Andrade and Rush using Pentas mask as a heel tactic to win worked great here without hurting Penta / Fenix much by losing. A nonstop spot filled action packed match.

A short match to give Starks a push as a new babyface. He’s good in ring and seems to be over with the crowd.

Rayne is fine for being a vet but the crowd didn’t care and no one thought she was breaking Jades streak. Jade just still isn’t good though. Too many spots look like they were taking forever to be set up then would still be executed poorly.

A very solid match between two of AEWs biggest names. Some parts went on for too long and maybe things weren’t sold great but this is fun regardless. Jericho bled a ton, had some close falls and heel tactics, but no one thought Mox was losing the belt. Punk returning post match was fun too since I think we’ll see Mox vs Punk at All Out.
