Battle Of The Belts V

Portland, Oregon

Jan. 6th, 2023

AEW World Tag Team Title No Holds Barred Match
The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) (w/Billy Gunn) (c) vs. Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett (w/Satnam Singh & Sonjay Dutt)

This match was complete overload mostly. Between interference, weapons, and a fake ref they tried to do way too much here. Let alone the fact they didn’t need to fight again days after they already did. The good moments were fine though. This just felt like overkill though.

AEW TBS Title Match
Jade Cargill (c) (w/Leila Grey) vs. Skye Blue

Another match you knew Jade wouldn’t lose. Would really like to see Skye Blue get signed and get some wins as she is now a semi constant name in matches. The finish was fantastic though but this wasn’t much more than your typical Jade match.

2 / 5

AEW All-Atlantic Title Match
Orange Cassidy (c) (w/Danhausen) vs. Kip Sabian (w/Penelope Ford & The Bunny)

Kip still isn’t interesting in the slightest. His heel tactics here were good but he’s just not an interesting guy to face for any reason. Otherwise this was your basic Orange match interference’s and all.
