The numbers are in, and Lorna Shore’s new album ‘Pain Remains’ debuts on the Billboard 200 at #150

Just short of selling out their entire North American headlining tour, Lorna Shore have obviously had a huge last few years. We don’t really need to recap it all for you, but with an abrupt change in vocalist (a huge improvement in every facet possible), they’ve transcended any notion of being just “the band from TikTok”, which was foolish to begin with if you know how long they’ve been around.

Anyway, the band’s new album, Pain Remains, clocks in an just over an hour. Given the length of the songs and the album as a whole, it’s not exactly easy listening. As it’s been out for over a week now, the band’s chart numbers are official in – and by pretty much all accounts, it’s their most successful album to date.

The album has debuted on the Billboard 200 at a staggering #150, which is impressive when you consider that bands this extreme rarely debut on said chart. Obviously this isn’t the only metric that defines the album’s success – to date, it’s already racked up millions of streams on Spotify alone. But when you consider the band’s headlining tour is basically sold-out and new tastemakers are arriving late to the party to talk about them, it’s quite impressive.
