A Pennsylvania metal group by the name of Cape Kong is on the up and coming list after two very strong single releases, and now their third. Cape Kong has just released their new song “Escapist” featuring Tyler Shelton of Traitors. This song is a full joyride all the way through with highly regarded songwriting, clever vocal patterns, and energy pumping percussion. Cape Kong formed in 2021, so they’re pretty fresh in the metal scene, but with that being said they’ve released nothing but solid and creative songs so far. Giving metal their own unique spin on it by drawing from their individual inspirations, Cape Kong has a wide-range of influences. Cape Kong made their entrance with their song “False God”, and followed-up their debut release with “The Harvest”. Cape Kong has showed some true skill within their music.
