Currently on his headlining solo tour, the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour, Mike Shinoda is playing to packed houses every night on his first tour supporting Post Traumatic, his cathartic debut solo record. Shinoda’s solo shows have been less like a concert and more like special events, with conversations about the late Chester Bennington, mashups of Linkin Park, Fort Minor, and Shinoda songs, as well as a great support band in Don Broco. In other words, it’s not a tour you’ll want to miss.
While on the Las Vegas stop of the Outbreak Tour, Shinoda was joined on stage by Linkin Park’s Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, where they dressed up as the iconic rap group Run-DMC, for a special Halloween performance. In addition to opening the show with that band’s iconic “It’s Tricky”, multiple other songs were performed, including Fort Minor’s “Remember The Name”, Linkin Park’s “Iridescent”, and lots more. Check out photos and video of the show below. While it’s still unknown if or when Linkin Park will perform together again, it’s important to realize that Shinoda’s Post Traumatic is a brilliant work of art – and for that, it should be celebrated.
Happy Halloween! Me and the boys dressed up for the show last night…and brought out our biggest fan, @phoenixlp . /// Big thank you to Dave for joining for a bunch of songs tonight. ❤️???? #posttraumatictour @OutbreakPresnts pic.twitter.com/FZBHjHfwNG

The incredibly, stupidly hysterical Halloween Intro, which probably helped with my emotional status of my first #PostTraumaticTour show of the west coast run. ?? pic.twitter.com/9MGbBjBNFl
