It has almost been three years since the band released their last album with Mitch Lucker titled “Black Crown”. With the passing of the vocalist the band went on the search for a new one. They found Eddie from All Shall Perish, is he a good fit? Find out what we think after the jump.
So first off, I’m not gonna hop on that bandwagon of “Mitch is better, Eddie is better, etc.” I believe that the sound this single shows stays true to the Suicide Silence formula. Both high and low screams are showcased in a perfect ratio. The guitar and drum work sound stellar. If I could compare this to anything, it keeps the sound that Black Crown had which is a good thing. You can’t replace a vocalist but you can definitely try and this is the best attempt I have seen in a long time. If the rest of the album sounds like this I feel like a lot of people who didn’t give Eddie a chance will come back and give that a second thought.
