We’ve been updating you throughout the day on the awful events, but if you didn’t hear, The Ghost Inside were involved in a terrible accident on the road today. Injuries and fatalities are not completely known at this time, but given the pictures we’ve seen of the wreckage, it’s not pretty (the band and crew are all alive, though).
Luckily in the age of the Internet, generous people can come forth in an instant to help those in need. Especially for a touring band, the losses they’ve likely suffered are nearly impossible to replace. Brian Storm has set up a GoFundMe to support the band during this difficult time, which you can find right here. You can also find a statement concerning the events below. I encourage anyone to share the link if you can’t donate, and to throw a few bucks the band’s way if you can, in what is surely a terrible time for The Ghost Inside.
There’s also a GoFundMe available here for driver Greg Hoke, who perished in the accident. He left behind a wife and two kids, and deserves your support just the same.
Members of The Ghost Inside and their crew were injured in a horrific accident on highway 180 in Texas that tragically claimed two lives traveling in the other vehicle involved.
Multiple members of the band and crew suffered serious injuries during the ordeal. Equipment was also lost in addition to various medical bills incurred.
This fund is set up to cover the band’s medical bills and equipment losses incurred during this tragic event.
Any amount of money you can contribute to this fund is greatly appreciated. It is extremely difficult for a band to cover expenses from a tragic event such as this one.
