Breaking News: The Ghost Inside Involved In Serious Vehicle Accident

They’re currently on the Locals Only Tour, but melodic hardcore band The Ghost Inside are the latest victims of a terrible van accident. The news, which originally broke on KFMX.com, reports that “two occupants in the semi were killed. According to Mr. Ivie, three band members were pulled from the bus unscathed while he was on the scene, with eight more on the bus to be accounted for. He did mention that this was the worst crash he’s ever seen.” Note that this is unconfirmed by anyone other than the aforementioned site, but there are photos below.

We have very little information at this time, but Jay Ivie, a trucker, sent us pictures from the scene of an accident possibly involving the band The Ghost Inside.
This is unconfirmed information. At the time of publication, there is nothing on social media and there is nothing on the bands Facebook or Twitter pages.
This accident was on Hwy 180 about 24 miles East of El Paso heading towards the Guadalupe Mtns and 8 miles East of The Border Patrol Check Point.
Mr. Ivie messaged us that the band members had eleven members on the bus when it collided with a semi-truck. He reported that two occupants in the semi were killed.
According to Mr. Ivie, three band members were pulled from the bus unscathed while he was on the scene, with eight more on the bus to be accounted for. He mentioned that this was the worst crash he’s ever seen.
The band had played Wednesday night (11/17) in Lubbock to a crowd of about 300 at Jake’s Backroom.

Update from the same source – according to a Fox News affiliate, bus driver may have perished (again, unconfirmed) and crew all accounted for (3:08 EST). Regardless, this is real, and this is serious.

Thanks to everyone who reached out with concern today. The Ghost Inside was involved in a serious bus accident outside El Paso, TX this morning. All 5 band members + all members of the crew are alive and currently being treated for their injuries. Please keep them in your thoughts as well as their bus driver and those in the other vehicle who did not make it. Unfortunately, all US shows on the Locals Only Tour are cancelled.
