The Big Bash League (BBL) is an Australian Twenty20 cricket league professional club that was developed by Cricket Australia and had its inaugural season in 2011. The biggest-ever attendance at a BBL game was when the Melbourne Stars played the Melbourne Renegades at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on January 2nd, 2016. A total of 80,833 people turned up

One of the most unlucky teams in the BBL are the Melbourne Stars, who have managed to make it to the final no less than three times, but on each occasion, they have come up short and failed to win the match

You then have Glenn Maxwell with 2,205 runs in 82 innings, Shaun Marsh with 2,196 runs in 61 innings, and Marcus Stoinis with 2,137 runs in 71 innings

The youngest ever player to compete in the Big Bash League was Noor Ahmad (a right-handed Afghan cricketer who is still only 17 years of age). He made his first appearance in the BBL against the Hobart Hurricanes at the tender age of just 15 and 350 days!
