This week’s spotlighted band is Illuminate Me. They’re a thrash/punk/hardcore band from South Florida, and their debut album, I Have Become A Corpse is available 7/15 via Tragic Hero Records.
I haven’t been more proud of a home state band since Abiotic and Dark Sermon got signed a couple years back. I’m talking, of course, about South Florida’s own Illuminate Me. Having booked a show for them at The Goat House a year ago, I witnessed firsthand their incendiary live show. They’re going on tour with label mates Everyone Dies In Utah soon, too! I’m not sure if there’s a band I’ve been more excited for their future since hearing their new album. It is frenetic.
